Delete your Hectix account

How it works

1. Email us at support@hectix.app from the email address on your Hectix account, with the subject “Delete my Hectix account”. The button above fills this in for you.
2. We confirm it is you. If the request comes from your account’s email address, that is usually enough. If not, we will ask you to confirm by replying from that address. We never ask for your password.
3. We delete your account and reply to confirm, within 30 days of your request. You are signed out of every device.

What we delete

• Your account: email address, display name and password hash
• Your devices and sign-in sessions
• Your server profiles and connection history
• Your AI chat conversations
• Your activity and security logs
• Our support emails with you, unless you ask us to keep them

What we may keep

Copies in our backups are removed when those backups expire, within a further 30 days. We may keep a minimal record that your account was deleted, and any information we are required to keep by law. Nothing we keep is used for any other purpose.

Data only you can delete

Some Hectix data never reaches us, so you control it directly:

• On your phone: SSH passwords, private keys, AI API keys and app preferences are stored only on your device. Uninstalling Hectix removes them.
• On your servers: if you used Claude Code through Hectix, its files and chat history are in the ~/.hectix folder on each server. You can remove it with rm -rf ~/.hectix.
• At your AI provider: requests sent with your own Anthropic or OpenAI key are covered by your account with that provider. You can revoke the key in their dashboard.
