Hectix puts your servers in your pocket. It is a mobile app for managing Linux servers over SSH, with an AI coding agent that works inside your projects.
What Hectix is
Hectix is a mobile app for Android and iOS that lets you manage Linux servers over SSH from your phone. You connect to any server you can reach over SSH, such as a VPS, a cloud instance or a machine at home, and then browse files, run commands and work on your projects. An AI assistant can help, either through your own Claude or OpenAI API key or through Claude Code running on your own server.
Why we built it
Servers don’t wait until you are at your desk. A full disk, a failed deploy or a crashed service tends to happen when you are away from your laptop. Most mobile SSH apps are a bare terminal on a small screen, which makes even simple fixes slow and error-prone.
We wanted a control center built for the phone: saved servers, a file browser, one-tap commands, and an AI agent that can do the typing-heavy work while you review it. That is Hectix.
What you can do
- Connect to any SSH server with a password or a private key, and keep your servers organized.
- Browse and manage files over SFTP: open, view and organize folders without typing commands.
- Run commands in a terminal, or with quick actions for the checks you run all the time.
- Work in projects on your servers, and see your recent activity.
- Use AI in your projects: chat with your own Claude or OpenAI key, or run Claude Code on your server with your Claude plan.

Our principles
- Your secrets stay on your phone. SSH passwords and private keys are stored only in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore. Our servers never receive them.
- Your code stays on your servers. When Claude Code runs on your server, the work happens there, not on ours.
- Security by default. Short-lived sessions, revocable devices and strong password hashing. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
- Honest pricing. The core app is free. When AI usage costs money, you choose whose account it bills.
Where we are now
Hectix is in early access and free to use. Store links will appear on the home page as each version is published. We publish practical guides on the Hectix blog.
